Dr SHAMPA NANDI has been teaching since 2008. She taught in the USA for 3 years before she moved to India. She is now associated with ISME and heads the PGDM department. A driven academician with good analytical skills, intellectual ability, and organizational skills. A skilled researcher, recognized PhD guide under Mysore University, received multiple best paper awards, best case awards and presented scholarly work at reputed conferences. She has published 25 papers in recognized peer-reviewed National and International journals including Scopus-indexed and ABDC journals. Her area of research interest is Consumer Behavior and Marketing research.

Educational Summary: Rajendra Desai graduated with  B.Tech from IIT Delhi in Chemical Engineering (1984) and went on to acquire a Masters in Operations Research from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, USA (1988).  Subsequently, he completed a Management Program for Entrepreneurs and Family Business from IIM, Bangalore.(2008).
He has over 20 years of experience as an Entrepreneur in founding and scaling up a Leather Accessories Manufacturing Firm. He has spent over 10 years in academics – as Dean ( External Programs, XIME, Bangalore), Dean (Management Development Programs, AIMIT Mangalore),  Assistant and Associate Professor positions at St. Joseph’s Institute of Management and XIME, Bangalore and Research Associate (Virginia Tech), He has been teaching quantitative subjects – Statistics, Operations Research and Business Analytics as well as courses in Marketing and Entrepreneurship for PGDM and Executive Courses.

Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor at ISME, where she teaches undergraduate, postgraduate, and PGDM programs.
In addition to her technical proficiency, Professor Manasa brings a strong background in customer service and client-facing roles, demonstrating her ability to address client needs and cultivate long-term relationships. Her leadership extends beyond the professional realm, as she actively fosters team collaboration and drives organizational success through her involvement in extracurricular activities. He began his career as an entrepreneur of a software firm in the capacity of a Business Analyst, and worked   for reputed Analytics multinationals, before resuming his journey in the field of academia. He has been teaching since 2006 at several Indian universities and Edith Cowan University, Australia. He is now associated with ISME and is part of the External Relations Department. His Soft Skills facilitation assignments have been an enabler in his teaching sessions as well. His interest in Design Thinking prompts him to search for innovative ways to engage his students.
